The Ascension Team

As much as I would love to take credit for this endeavor it would have been impossible to get where I am now. My part in this is relatively small. Sure I'm the the writer and producer, so if it's terrible, that's all me. I have a vision but nowhere talented enough to draw, illustrate, or put image to paper/screen. I had my feelers out looking for someone talented enough to illustrate, easy to work with, and understands my needs. That is when I found Erick Reyes.

Erick, a freelancer with daring spirit, accepted the 21-issue project, even though I recall there were only 15 issues initially. Without Erick, this comic would have consisted solely of poorly drawn stick figures. I am grateful to have him as part of my team, contributing his artistic talent. Erick comes from the Toronto area in Canada. A friend from the northern region, I appreciate you!

I needed expertise in creating a logo/title artwork for my comic book series to ensure it had a strong visual impact. Doni, also known as DaProject, was able to capture the essence of the story and create stunning artwork suitable for the cover. He also designed the title art for Agent Dresco, and I trust him to work on all my future projects. His work is truly remarkable.

I sought someone to elevate my writing beyond a basic level, a task that demanded a full-time commitment. I needed an editor who was a skilled wordsmith, patient, and possessed a good sense of humor. That's when I came across The Devasto, Dr. Word. Upon receiving the revised script, it looked like a test paper that had been thoroughly marked by Beavis or Butthead, covered in abundant red ink. There were lines, circles, suggestions, and one word highlighted in bold: "Why??" I refrained from asking whether this was a personal note about accepting the job or a question about my lack of attention in school. With an impressive array of 15 college degrees, master's degrees, or similar qualifications, there is no challenge beyond her capabilities.

Undoubtedly, the key member of my team now is Foxy. She was the one who simply said, "yes, go for it" probably using even fewer words. Foxy has truly been the most valuable partner throughout this journey, providing me with the support and space to pursue my passions. She has always been there for me in any regard. I wouldn't have come this far without her.

I want to give a special mention to my top supporter who echoed the encouraging words of Foxy. I was reminded to keep in mind the most powerful one-word quote ever, "Believe."
