Xibalba (Mayan pronunciation: [ʃiɓalˈɓa]), roughly translated as "place of fright", is the name of the underworld in Maya mythology, ruled by the Maya death gods and their helpers.

Rumored to have more riches than El Dorado, more powerful than the Fountain of Youth, The Jungles of Xibalba has been lost to myth and lost to modern maps. When a  card gambler stumbles upon an ancient map in a game of riches aboard a merchant ship, the gambler cannot help to think, what if.
