Crow or  Door?

The crow is a spirit animal associated with life, mysteries, and magic.  The power of this bird as totem and spirit guide is to provide insight and means of supporting intentions. Sign of luck, it is also associated with the archetype of the trickster; be aware of deceiving appearances.  If the crow has chosen you as your spirit or totem animal, it supports you in developing the power of sight, transformation, and connection with life’s magic.

The Void

Other traditional meanings associate the crow with bad omen, death, and dark witchcraft. The crow also carries the power of prophetic insight and symbolizes the void or core of creation.

The Messenger

Crows are magic and have the power to manipulate physical appearances. They are a reminder that magic is everywhere. When you encounter a crow, just tune into its behavior and it will give you a clue on how to use the magic powers it carries.

The sudden boost in crow population has residents of Smolder Falls worried. The church on Wilson Rd. looked like a breeding ground for the crows. Always a murder of crows aligning the roof of the church. Their caws echoed from the nearby trees as people drove up or walked by as if they were alerting the other crows to their presence.

Rumors began circulating among the people of Smolder Falls. Calling it a cursed church or an abomination of the church and faith. Some even said there was a door to hell inside the church. For many of the people the crows symbolized death and witchcraft  and usually kept people away, except the strangers coming into town. Wanderers, hippies, and the undesirable, seem to find the Trinity House Church.

The pastor had a certain charm and passion in his voice. Many called him a cult leader. When he came to town with a crow on his shoulder, it was more than that towns people could handle. One evening in September, someone took flame to the church. It burned for days but it never fell.

Beware of the one who the crow gathers with, for he is the keeper of keys to the door that should never be opened.
