Betty Flowers
The Housewife
Loving wife and mother
DESCRIPTION
The prescriptions you used to take helped with your sadness and you anger. It also helped with the many voices in your head. You were a delightful woman with a delightful disposition. More like dispositions, one of the voices in your mind speak louder than others.
Depression hit hard with the news of unable to have kids. You felt like half a woman. Good thing there are many other women in your head to help fill the emptiness inside.
Anger wasn't an issue for you no matter what the police, doctors, or your friends tell you. Anger never really bothered you. In fact you enjoyed it. More than one of you does, "Cybil"

Where
Where ever the voices say
I see lights

Living in New Mexico was never easy, especially in Socorro. Very few friends during the day, lonely howls of coyotes at night. There was however, the beauty of the lightening storms keeping you company many a night. The spectacular light show kept most of the voices silent. Too busy enjoying the storm that was outside of your mind for once.
The mind folds in and out of its self like geometric poetry. Opening doors to other voices, other thoughts, other possibilities, make you question what is reality, do you really see more than what is actually in front of you. Makes you question who you are. Who you married and why this life is happening to you.
Doubts about your husband Lonnie set in. He's doesn't act like the person you knew. He's a local sheriff and people do like him but you see through his secret. Like a real life Invasion of the Body Snatchers. That's why you had to take action after he left you.
